| Discover the last wild areas of the north of Europe, guided by Samis and going with a convoy of reindeers. They carry the luggage, as they used to do, during the long transhumances towards the mountains. Sunlight: 24h a day

A domesticated reindeer "tamren"
|
You start near Jokkmokk ( some km north of the polar circle).
The Samis have been living there for about 6000 years. Originally hunters and fishermen, some specialized in the breeding of the reindeer. They will be the best to guide you in this wild and virgin nature.
The suggested excursion is easy, with frequent pauses in order to observe nature, fish or speak with the guides. The meals are prepared by the Samis : smoked reindeer, cloud berries ... One night under the tent is planned in the stay.

The participants are invited to take part in the preparation,
checking of the reindeers and the organization of the camp. The
guides speak English.
